Twitter Is Experimenting To Revamp The Desktop WebsiteTwitter is experimenting with revamping their desktop website. This could include bookmarks for the social network, as declared in the company’s tweet.
The mobile version of the Twitter already has had its bookmark version earlier this year but the desktop one was lacking it. This option is useful in a way that it allows the users to save the tweets that they deem worthy of their time later on or have stroked their interests.
As elaborated by TechCrunch and Business Insider, these updates have new refinements added to the design. Users can now easily switch to night mode and Data Saver mode via the new toggles for activating these services, also, the Trending now, profile page and profile sections are transferred to the other side of the page which gives a more refined look. The tweet composing window has also been remade anew.
According to the site, these designs are not for mass consumption as of yet. they will be available for “limited test for now”. The lucky ones who will be able to enjoy these new improvements will observe an opt-in pop-up and will be able to revert back to the parent site if these new features are not their cup of tea.
