I bought YRYM HT Grill cooking mat to use as heat proof mats when i use my portable electric grill and crock pot. Looks like they will work just fine. Only used a few times, and love it so far. Easy to grill stuffed burgers and chicken..That usually flare too much. Tried steak, prefer right on grill for steak. Worked suprisingly well. We cooked steak and asparagus on the grill and both were amazing (and no lost spears in the fire!)! Thickest grill mat out there. Works great for those items that would fall through the grates or are very messy and you can still get the grill marks. The food does get less grill flavor than on the open grates, but not much less. It is worth getting just to make kabobs, but I still prefer beef and pork on the grates without the mat.

Just assembled a new grill and didn't want to mess up the gtill so this fits the bill perfectly. I recently used my new grill mats. They worked wonderfully, my brand new BBQ still looks brand new after a day of cooking. I am purchasing a set for my two sons who also recently bought new BBQ's. What a pleasure not have to clean the grill. Love this product! This is the fourth set I've ordered because I keep giving them away when people see me using them on the grille. I have an 8 burner flat top propane grille and I cook everything on it. Now I use the Kona grill mats all the time. Fish, chicken, steaks, veggies and potatoes. They all cook up great on the mat! Love 'em.
We tried another Grill Cooking Mat and it did not work as well as the Kona. Grill cleaning is a thing of the past! Cooked some chicken with BBQ sauce which usually gums up on the grill grates but just easily wash the mats with soap and water and you are ready to grill your steaks and that cleans up with a damp cloth. This has made life so much easier when using the grill, Love them so much I will never use the grill without them! After the first use, these mats are better than others I have tried. I was impressed by the grill marks on the meat after cooking. I cooked using a gas grill at about 300 degrees. No signs of any damage or blemishes on the mats. I am looking forward to using these every time I grill.
