The Addicted Lawyer: A CLE Webinar on Substance Abuse & Mental Health in the Legal Profession

Members of the legal community unfortunately experience higher rates of substance abuse disorders and mental health challenges than other professions. These issues can substantially impair an attorney’s ability to practice law and adhere to professional obligations and standards.

Our upcoming Justia Webinar explores these issues through the lens of Brian Cuban’s own life experiences. Keep reading to get the details on what promises to be an insightful presentation offering a nuanced perspective on these issues for lawyers.

CLE Webinar Details & Speaker

Brian Cuban is an attorney, author, and mental health awareness and recovery advocate. His compelling story takes center stage in our next CLE webinar, The Addicted Lawyer. How We Got Here. Where We Are Headed. Brian will candidly share his personal journey overcoming addiction and mental health challenges, beginning with his childhood in Pittsburgh with his brother Mark Cuban, his experiences at Penn State University and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, and his journey with addiction and recovery while practicing law in Dallas, Texas.

The presentation will begin promptly at 1:00 p.m. ET/10:00 a.m. PT on Thursday, January 4, 2024. The recording of this broadcast will also be available to Justia Connect Pro members shortly after the live event.
