This is a very quick tutorial on how to set up a new Google account, this is really easy and should take 10 minutes at the most.

To be able to have access to the whole raft of services you need a Google Account, services may include: Gmail, AdWords, Google Docs, Places, Analytics, Webmaster Tools to name but a few.

So to set up a Google Account just follow the following steps:

1. Go to www.google.co.uk
2. Click Sign In in the top right hand side
3. Then click Sign Up in the top right hand side
4. Then fill out your details on the form (I personally put in fake date of birth because I personally do not like my DOB everywhere on the internet.
5. Plus un-tick the tick box at the bottom “Google may use….”
6. Once filled out click Next Step
7. The screen should then Say “Welcome”, then Click Get Started
8. You should now be on the Google Home Page with your new gmail address in the top right hand corner ([email protected])

The world of Google is now at your feet (or you are at Google’s feet!)
