Reading Comprehension - Level 1 & 2
I have created a resource based on 'Corsodyl' advertisements which can be used as part of a taught session about the use of persuasive and shocking imagery in adverts. Students should read the article, taken from http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-36024782 and answer the comprehension questions. The questions cover presentational features, language techniques, identifying information and the use of opinion.

Lesson Ideas
- Print off some powerful and shocking images from adverts and give to learners to discuss.
- Learners could create a persuasive speech to go with the advert or they could create a TV script.
