Live in the Present!

“You only live once,  but if you do it right, once is enough.” – Mae West

Reality is created by mind and it can be changed by the way we think.

God has bestowed us with a beautiful environment, huge resources and with wonderful  opportunities. Life is short and different for every Individual. Unfortunately, we are missing out on that, trying to always  focus on our past experiences and future plannings.

Research says, an individual gets approximately 23,725 days. So, understanding the value of time and using it in a constructive manner is an integral part of life.

“There are certain truths that occur to us,  which we cannot convey in words, but requires a personal experience to grasp more vividly.”- Michael Bassey Johnson

Here I share a few of my experiences, during my post-graduation, I visited places in North India like Shimla,    Chandigarh, Agra and Delhi. I enjoyed every moment by spending time alone,  enjoying the beauty around me, Listening to music, watching movies and living in the moment which  I cherish till date.

Most of us expect positive results in our life endeavours, but only a few get what we desire. Rest of us fail due to lack of presence of mind and self control.

In the current scenario, our life is sandwiched between the busy schedule and work pressure where we fail to cherish the little things right in front of us. For instance- while eating food, we keep ourselves engaged in other activities like watching tv, listening to music and so on. This leads to lack of concentration of food and body absorbs very little nutritions from our consumption which leads to many health issues like chronic diseases, cancer, fluctuations in the blood pressure and sugar levels, cardiac diseases etc.

Every small incident has its own positive impact on life. We must have self control and take life as a best gift, accept it and move forward happily.

Few of my practices like,

   a) Meditation

b) Music therapy

c) Reading books

d) Listening to motivational speeches

Practicing these on regular intervals can make life healthy and peaceful.

PRESENCE OF MIND – BETTER HEALTH – BETTER LIFE
