Humble beginning goes a long way…

Education for students in villages includes hardships and afflictions. The brave ones can be cited in various fields particularly in the upper echelons of government employment, in the helm of politics, and many such enviable positions.

Achievers like Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, Dr B.R. Ambedkar – Constitutional sculptor, a well-known Sir M. Visvesvaraya who was dependent on the public utility services like street light for his studies, a well-known film actor Dr. Rajkumar, founder of Infosys Narayana Murthy and still many others can be named from Rural backgrounds.

If you take into account the Political arena, the former Prime Minister H. D. Deve Gowda and former Karnataka Chief minister M. Siddaramaiah, B. S. Yediyurappa, Indian Prime Minister – Narendra Modi and many Political Dhruva’s like these can be named.

On the literary side, the talented poets like Kuvempu, D. R. Bendre, K Sivarama Karanth, Masti Venkatesha Iyengar, U. R. Ananthamurthy, Girish Karnad, Dr. Chandrashekhar and many more are well known for their literary juices.

Thus, one can see the outstanding achievements of great people in many areas such as political, educational and social, the rural side bravely embraces all things which can be presented.

Few of their routine activities include – Swimming, playing Chinni Dandu (Gilli Danda), Buguri (Spinning the top), Goti (Marbles), Kallu Gundu Ettuvudu (Stone Balls), waking up early in the morning and practicing in the yard while still doing a variety of different tasks makes them physically fit.

The maturity among the villagers can be represented by their lifestyle, dialect, their discipline, their culture and tradition. It is up to us to believe that people with a rural background are in successful positions. This is an inspiration for many who belong to rural areas as success can be achieved by pure hardwork and perseverance. Village is the birthplace of Humble beginners, isn’t it?
