GCSE English Language - Descriptive Language

A creative writing prompt for learners to describe a dark forest. I have included some technique prompts on the image for learners to try and embed. They can describe the scene or add description to a narrative. I tend to get my learners to introduce their writing with a short simple sentence to develop from or a description of the scene.

As an addition to new prompts ready for the new teaching year, I am also going to create language and structure prompt sticks before September for learners to use when writing. They could randomly select some so that they can add variety to their work.
