A themed-resource related to Harry and Meghan's royal wedding. The reading element is based on a news article 'Royal wedding: The UK's rapidly changing mixed-race population' http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-44040766 and allows learners to discuss changing attitudes in the UK's society. For the first part of the session, I encouraged learners to think about the monarchy and decide on arguments for and against having a Royal family. This allowed them to take part in a formal discussion before developing their reading skills.
