Entry 3 - Writing an Email
This Entry 3 resource enables learners to develop their email writing skills, bringing together their use of conjunctions (Entry 2), writing and forming questions, capital letters and full stops. The format of the activity is similar to the Entry 3 English writing exam, where it provides learners with ideas to sequence their writing.
The activity could also go alongside a session based on fairs/local attractions including:

- Adjectives (show a YouTube video of a popular fairground and encourage learners to describe using the senses).
- Exploring new vocabulary at the fair for ESOL learners.
- Learners could share their opinions about fairgrounds in a speaking and listening task.
- Learners could adapt their writing to create informative posters about an event based in their area.
