MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is now gearing up for the release of March 2024 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) results this Friday, May 24, 2024 or in forty-five (45) working days after the exams. These include the list of passers for Elementary and Secondary levels, topnotchers and performance of schools.

More than 100,000 aspiring teachers tried to hurdle the licensure exams on Sunday, March 17, 2024 in at least 36 testing centers nationwide.

Test locations include the following: Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

There were also additional testing areas to accommodate influx of takers: Bacolod, Bayambang, Bohol, Catanduanes, Cauayan, Digos, Dumaguete, General Santos, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Kidapawan, Laguna, Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, Masbate, Mati, Romblon and Tagum.

The Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) who gave the licensure exam is composed of Dr. Rosita L. Navarro, Chairman; Dr. Paz I. Lucido, Vice Chairman; Dr. Paraluman R. Giron and Dr. Nora M. Uy, Members.

RELEASE OF LET RESULTS

The release of LET results was originally scheduled on May 20, 2024 (Monday). But on May 9, PRC made an announcement for the rescheduling of LET results, moving the target to May 24, 2024 (Friday).

Note that there are several factors that may cause deviation on target release date, including the total number of examinees, any unforeseen events and system of checking the pencil-based test.

The agency, however, did not provide reason for the rescheduling as well as the expected time of release of LET results this Friday.

REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING

The schedule for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration for Elementary and Secondary level exams will be announced as well this Friday, May 24.

PRC advised successful examinees to PERSONALLY register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

Meanwhile, the dates of the oathtaking ceremonies of new licensed professional teachers (LPTs) WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.
