MANILA, Philippines — The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is expected to release result of March 2024 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) or Teachers board exam on May 24, 2024 or in forty-five (45) working days after the exam. The list of successful examinees who hurdled the exam for Secondary Level given by the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) is available here once announced.

The massive regular LET was administered on Sunday, March 17, 2024 in at least 36 testing centers nationwide.
Testing centers include Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
PRC also designated additional test centers to accommodate more examinees and avoid unnecessary distant travel: Bacolod, Bayambang, Bohol, Catanduanes, Cauayan, Digos, Dumaguete, General Santos, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Kidapawan, Laguna, Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, Masbate, Mati, Romblon and Tagum.
The members of the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Rosita L. Navarro, Chairman; Dr. Paz I. Lucido, Vice Chairman; Dr. Paraluman R. Giron and Dr. Nora M. Uy, Members.

Passers of the recent LET are those who have obtained an average rating of not less than 75% and have no rating lower than 50% in any of the tests.
In accordance with the law, passing the licensure exam and having valid professional license from the Commission are necessary before the practice of teaching profession in the Philippines. Otherwise, those who will violate may face fine and imprisonment based on penal provisions.
REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING
The schedule for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration for Elementary and Secondary level exams will be posted here once results are out online.
Date of Registration: TBA
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- Notice of Admission (for identification only)
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- two pieces passport size pictures (colored with white background and complete nametag)
- two sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope.
PRC said that successful examinees should PERSONALLY register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The dates of the oathtaking ceremonies of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.
RELEASE OF RESULTS
Based on PRC Resolution No. 1728 series of 2023, the target release of March 2024 LET board exam result is on May 20, 2024 (Monday) or 41 working days after the test.
But on May 9, PRC informed the public that the target date of release of the March 2024 LET results has been moved from May 20 to May 24 (Friday). The reason for the rescheduling was not announced.
Several factors such as the total number of examinees, effect of work cancellations due to calamities and unforeseen events and system of checking the pencil-based tests may cause deviation on target release date.
We still advise takers to monitor developments on the announcement of results.
PREVIOUS EXAMS
In the September 2023 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET), PRC released results in fifty-five (55) working days after the exams. A total of 53,995 secondary teachers out of 95,969 examinees (56.26%) successfully passed the exams.
In the March 2023 LET, PRC announced results in forty-two (42) working days. The agency named 48,005 secondary teachers out of 102,272 examinees (46.94%) who successfully hurdled the exams.
In the October 2022 LET, PRC was able to release results after fifty-six (56) working days. A total of 71,080 secondary teachers out of 139,534 examinees (50.94%) successfully passed the exams.
In the June 2022 Licensure Exam for Teachers (fourth and final Batch of LET for the postponed board exams in 2020-2021), the PRC released results in 30 working days. The agency named 10,193 secondary teachers out of 20,191 examinees (50.48%) who passed the exams.
