MANILA, Philippines – The 2023 bar exam results - list of Passers, topnotchers and top performing schools - are set to be released online on December 5, 2023. Over 10,000 aspiring lawyers tried to hurdle the grueling tests on September 17, 20, and 24, 2023 in 14 testing sites nationwide.
A total of 0,387 law graduates completed the third digitalized and regionalized bar exams.
Relative to the successful conduct of 2020-2021 and 2022 Bar Exam, the Supreme Court once again used Examplify, a computer-based examination program that allows examinees to securely take a test using their own devices.

Aspiring lawyers were tested in the following major subjects:
1. Political and Public International Law (15%)
2. Commercial and Taxation Laws (20%)
3. Civil Law (20%)
4. Labor Law and Social Legislation (10%)
5. Criminal Law (10%)
6. Remedial Law, Legal and Judicial Ethics with Practical Exercises (25%)
The standard 75% passing percentage is expected to prevail in the recent exam, same in the previous years.
Bar exam results updates
On November 16, the Supreme Court announced through a bulletin the exact release date of the 2023 bar exam results.
"The undersigned shall release the Results and List of Successful Examinees for the 2023 Bar Examinations (Results) via public announcement in the afternoon of December 5, 2023, Tuesday, at the courtyard of the Supreme Court Main Building, Padre Faura Street, Manila (SC Courtyard)," the Office of the Bar Chairman Associate Justice Ramon Paul Hernando said.
The high court added that oath-taking of successful examinees will be on December 22, 2023.
