MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Criminology are expected to release before the end of September 2023 the complete result of August 2023 Criminologist board exam or Criminology Licensure Exam (CLE). PRC administered the Criminology board exam on August 25, 26 and 27 (Friday to Sunday) in Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan (Oriental Mindoro), Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, San Fernando (Pampanga), Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Antique, Bacolod, Bohol, Cauayan (Isabela), Dumaguete, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Kidapawan, Occidental Mindoro, Naga, and Palawan, Valencia and in the Municipality of Rosales, and Bayambang (Pangasinan).

PRC said that registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Visit the official website of PRC (https://online.prc.gov.ph/) and follow instructions for initial registration.
Date of Registration: TBA
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
The successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.
The three-day exam covered the following subjects: criminal jurisprudence, procedure and evidence and law enforcement administration, criminalistics, crime detection and investigation ; and sociology of crimes and ethics and correctional administration.
According to PRC Resolution No. 1597 (B) series 2022 in setting new schedule for the 2023 Licensure Examination for Criminologists, the target release of August 2023 CLE result is on Friday, September 29, 2023 or in 24 working days after the exam.
Note that results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice.
