MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) will release soon the complete results of August 2023 Criminologist Licensure Examination (CLE), which include the top performing schools and performance of schools.
The second CLE this year was administered by the Board of Criminology on August 25, 26 and 27 in Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan (Oriental Mindoro), Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, San Fernando (Pampanga), Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Antique, Bacolod, Bohol, Cauayan (Isabela), Dumaguete, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Kidapawan, Occidental Mindoro, Naga, and Palawan, Valencia and in the Municipality of Rosales, and Bayambang (Pangasinan).

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the April 2023 Criminologist Licensure Examination, Cagayan de Oro College was the top performing school with 87.06% or 74 out of 85 passed. University of the Cordilleras (UC) ranked second with 84.75% or 100 out of 118 passed.
In the December 2022 Criminologist board exam, Tarlac State University (TSU) topped the schools with 100% passing rate or all 87 of its takers passed. Cavite State University came in second with 95.70% or 89 out of 93 passed.
In the June 2022 Criminologist board exam, University of the Cordilleras was the top performing school with 94.37% passing rate or 134 out of 142 takers passed. University of Iloilo came in second with 84.48% or 98 out of 116 passed the exams.
In the December 2021 Criminologist board exam, King's College of the Phils Inc. - Benguet was the top performing school with 98.97% passing rate or 96 out of 97 passed. University of the Cordilleras (UC) came in second with 93.41% or 156 out of 167 passed.
In the last CLE before the pandemic (November 2019), Cavite State University topped the shools with 98.78% or 81 out of 82 passed. Tarlac State University (TSU) followed with 97.06% or 66 out of 68 passed.

UPDATES
According to PRC Resolution No. 1597 (B) series 2022 in setting new schedule for the 2023 Licensure Examination for Criminologists, the target release of August 2023 CLE result is on Friday, September 29, 2023 or in 24 working days after the exam.
Note that results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice.
