MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Electrical Engineering (EE) are expected to release results of April 2023 Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) and Registered Master Electricians (RME) board exam on Wednesday, May 3 or in three (3) working days after the exam. The complete list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing schools and performance of schools are available here as announced online.
PRC conducted the licensure exam in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, and Palawan on April 25 and 26, 2023 (REE) and April 27, 2023 (RME).

REGISTRATION OF PASSERS
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to online.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.
Date of Registration: TBA
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
As advised, successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examinations WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.
COVERAGE OF EXAM
The REE board exam covered the following subjects: mathematics, engineering sciences and allied subjects (April 25) and electrical engineering professional subjects (April 26).
For RME exams, it covered technical subjects ( i.e. basic electricity, test equipment and electrical measurements) and Philippine Electrical Code (April 27).
The passing general weighted average rating is seventy percent (70%) with no grade below fifty percent (50%) in any subject.
RELEASE OF RESULTS
According to PRC Resolution No. 1589 s. 2022, the target release of results for the recent Electrical Engineer board exam is on Wednesday, May 3, 2033 or in three (3) working days after the series of exams.
However, results may be released ahead or on later date without prior notice.
PREVIOUS EXAMS
In the September 2022 Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination, PRC released results in four (4) working days. A total of 2,467 out of 4,914 successfully passed the REE and 2,433 out of 3,857 passed RME board exams.
In the April 2022 Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination, results were released by PRC in three (3) working days after the last day of examinations. A total of 3,029 out of 5,567 passed the REE while 1,717 out of 3,712 passed the RME.
In the September 2021 Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination, PRC released results in seven (7) working days. A total of 1,668 out of 2,590 passed the REE while 1,506 out of 2,233 passed the REE.
In the last REE and RME board exams before the pandemic, PRC released results in four (4) working days. A total of 3,285 out of 4,891 Registered Electrical Engineers and 2,634 out of 4,424 Registered Master Electricians successfully passed the Electrical Engineer Licensure Examinations.
