The NIT Meghalaya is one among the upper echelon institution of our country. Also, it holds the 16th position among the 31 NITs. It offers a plethora of courses such as computer science, electronics, and communication, electricals and electronics, mechanical and civil engineering programs. Apart from all these undergraduate programs it also offers master programs in MSc (in physics, chemistry, and mathematics) and B.Arch also. Meghalaya NIT B.Tech 2018 programs are open to those meritorious students who qualified their JEE Main exam this year.

Eligibility Criteria For Meghalaya NIT B.Tech 2018 Programs:

1. The students must have taken JEE Main 2018 and qualified the same.
2. Aspirants must have procured at least 75% marks in the 12th Board or its equivalent. And must fall within top 20 percentile of the respective Boards.
3. Exemption of 10% in the minimum qualifying marks for the respective boards for SC/ST candidates. Hence they can apply with the score of 65% as the minimum score.

Admissions are open for Foreign or overseas students via DASA (Direct Admission of Students Abroad). They can apply to the  various undergraduate programs that the college offers via SAT (Subject Test Score)

 Admission in NIT Meghalaya:

The student can procure a confirmed seat in B.Tech Programs by applying through JEE Main 2018 qualifying exam. And will have to go through the counseling process conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). And there only the student needs to submit some important documents such as 10th & 12th ( senior secondary) board examination result, character certificate, one ID proof ( like UID card), school leaving certificate, JEE Main Marks and Rank cards as well. These documents should be produced originally at the time of counseling.
