Punjab B.Tech Application Form 2017 will be going to release soon after the result declaration of 12th Board Exam. Punjab Technical University Combined Entrance Test 2017 (PTU CET 2017) will take place in the first week of May. Punjab Technical University (PTU) is an illustrious institute and it organises this test on a regular basis per year.

PTU CET 2017 Eligibility Criteria

• The students should procure at least 50% marks in 12th Board Exam with  Physics, mathematics as the main subjects to take admission in BTech course. Diploma in Architecture with minimum 50% of marks can also apply for it.
• Diploma degree holder in Architecture with minimum 50% of marks have also held the eligibility to apply for the same.
• Students should be of 17 years or more in age.

Process Involved In the Application Form of Punjab Technical University CET 2017

• Aspiring students should visit the official website of PTU CET 2017. And fill all the information required. After that, the students have to make online payment of Rs.550 or via making DD of Rs. 600 only drawn in favour of “The Registrar of PTU” payable at Jalandhar.
• Application Form will Release in the month of April. And PTU CET 2017 will takes place in the month of May only.
• The candidates have to send scanned photograph and signature as well in the specified dimensions.

PTU combined Entrance Test 2017 Paper Pattern:

1. Syllabus for the exam will be based on NCERT syllabus only.Topics will be same as JEE Main but much easier than that.
2. The test will take place in online mode only with objective type question with four options for each question.
3. One can opt the paper in only one language i.e English only.
4. The candidates can also procure seats in B.Tech, B.Arch., B.Pharm. via JEE Main score card also.

Seat Reservation: 85% of the seats will remain reserved for the candidates of the Punjab states only. And for the rest seat, any candidates from other states can apply for an open category.

Release Of The Admit Card:

One can procure the admit card after the official announcement on the PTU CET 2017 website.The students can download the admit card by furnishing the required information like application number and password.No students will get the admit card via post they only have to procure it from online only and then take the print out of it. It will get released one or two weeks before the commencement of the exam.

Counselling Process of PTU Combined Entrance Test 2017

The counselling process includes the selection of the candidate for the colleges enrolled in a specified test or admission. A candidate will get a call for the counselling process based on the merit list declared by the Punjab Technical University 2017. It will declare only after the 12th Board result. The inception of this process will take place in the month of July only.

For this the Candidate should ready with these following imperative documents:

1. Class 10th mark sheet and respective certificate(i.e passing out certificate)
2. Class XII mark sheet and respective certificate(i.e passing out certificate)
3. Domicile Certificate
4. Identity Proof (like Aadhar card, voter id, pan card, driving license passport etc)
5. Category Certificate (if applicable)
6. Six passport size photographs
