The much awaited smartphone by OnePlus  is all set to launch in India on Friday at an event in New Delhi. In the event company will reveal prices of the smartphone and availability in India.

The smartphone OnePlus 3T was unveiled last month, and has been made available in US, Europe and UK last month. The smarphone has replaced the original OnePlus 3T in these regions.

However, OnePlus is not likely to discontinue the sale of OnePlus 3T, even after the launch of OnePlus 3T.

The major difference between OnePlus 3T and OnePlus 3 is the faster SoC (System on Chip), improved front camera and huge battery back-up.

As far as the prices are concerned, the 64GB variant of smartphone has been priced at $439 (Rs 29,800 approx) in US, while 128GB variant was priced at $479 (Rs 32,500).

Difference Between OnePlus 3T and OnePlus 3

OnePlus 3T sports a faster Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC, while OnePlus 3 had the Snapdragon 820 SoC.

OnePlus 3T comes in two variants- 64GB and 128GB, unlike the original OnePlus 3.

In order to improve the front camera picture quality, OnePlus has doubled the resolution of front camera. OnePlus 3T comes with 16-megapixel camera, while Original OnePlus 3T sports 3-megapixel camera.

OnePlus 3T gets larger 3400mAh battery, which gives long battery back, while the OnePlus 3 offered 3000mAh battery. The newly launched OnePlus 3T also has ‘Dash Charge’ feature, which enables fast charging in smartphone.

Connectivity options on the OnePlus 3T include 4G LTE (with support for India’s LTE bands), Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and GPS/ A-GPS.

Similarities Between OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T

Both the smartphones have anodised aluminium metal unibody design.

The newly launched phone sports figerprint sensor on the home button and Alert Slider, which is similar to the original OnePlus 3.

The USB 2.0 is also same in both the smartphones along with a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Both the smartphones sports 5.5-inch full-HD Optic AMOLED display and also equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection.

OnePlus 3T  has same measurements as the OnePlus 3 at 152.7×74.7×7.35mm, and the same weight at 158 grams.
