Note: This post does not condemn the use of any drugs. It is meant to bring awareness to a plant that is helping people who has had previous problems in their lives such as restless legs, insomnia, anxiety, lack of focus, depressions, addictions, pain and many lifelong diagnosed syndromes.

Please do your own research to learn the facts. In this blog post, I will give bits and pieces of information so others can understand a little about the effects of the plan Kratom which has recently made headlines on the mainstream due to it’s recent ban.

Kratom, a natural Non-addictive Plant that thousands of people around the world use everyday to get off of prescription drugs and deal with other injuries from accidents which has caused them horrific pain throughout their lives has recently been banned by the DEA and labeled as a schedule 1 substance, the same as heroin, LSD, and Marijuana.  The plant, Mitragyna speciosa, and its two primary constituents, mitragynine and 7-hydroxymitragynine will be temporarily placed onto Schedule I on September 30, according to a filing by the DEA.

Their claims is that the plant Kratom is a “imminent hazard to the public safety.” and that the U.S. poison centers received 660 calls related to Kratom exposure from 2010-2015, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

However, there have been no serious reported injuries by anyone using Kratom by itself and in most cases where incidents has occurred that were an “emergency”  most likely happened because of irresponsible misuse  which someone new trying it might not expect and felt a little “worried” to check into an ER for a doctors opinion just to be safe.

Other than a few serious cases which many have already been written off by saying “Kratom did not acted alone that the individual was taking other meditations at the same time with kratom”. This is because a majority of people who used kratom for it’s known benefits have no complaints so when one negative story ends up on the news about something, you really can’t blame it on a plant that a decent majority of people use.

The Kratom plant itself is known to be a safe natural plant related to the coffee family as most people make a tea out of it with the leaves. Just like anyone making a quick stop at starbucks in the morning, then starting their day.

First, let us understand a little more of the effects of Kratom and what this plant is. Kratom leaves has a long history and has been used for hundreds of years and because of its strong stimulating qualities it is said to be a  stimulant at low doses,  and sedative at higher doses.

Kratom leaves will give you enhanced energy, mental alertness, euphoric sensations, it has pain relieving properties and many have claimed it makes them more social. You won’t get “high” off of kratom since it is not some party drug that is why it isn’t as popular as let’s say “marijuana” because it is NOT a drug that can get you stoned, it is a herb that you can reek a few benefits to improve your daily  life  by brightening up your day.

You know those tiring days you would get out the bed feeling sloppy, then you brew your coffee, drink it and 15 minutes later you have a more energizing feel? That’s what Kratom does. Does it have withdrawal symptoms?

Like drinking too much coffee, or eating too much sugar everyday, it might have some withdrawal effect on you and can be different for each person. I mean, have you ever tried to go completely vegetarian overnight after eating meat for 10 years?

Like all human beings, we will miss what we are used to and it can take quite sometime for our bodies to accept change. Luckily though…  Kratom is similar you will miss it but you’ll also get over it.

At the same time, many people need it for physical problems they face that helps them get that extra “boost” to get stuff done.

They may have been a Veteran soldier that fought for our country, or been in a terrible car accident and Kratom helps them. Can you imagine what they’ll do after the ban takes place?

Now let’s discuss a little what a serious addiction is and how Kratom is the completely opposite. Like other drugs such as opiates, heroin, etc people end up going to rehab, and facing horrible withdrawal symptoms and it ruins lives and causes even death at times.

None of this is possible with Kratom. In fact, Kratom can be used to HELP you get off of addictive painkillers like opium as mentioned above and it’s proven by hundreds of people already who has used kratom leaves to beat such addictions.

Who else better to compare the level of addiction of a plant than others who KNOWS from experience  what real addiction is like? They’ll tell you Kratom is not the same and how they’ve used Kratom to fight those addiction battles when 12 step program failed. If you are not informed about what Kratom is, do your own research and you can confirm all of this. You can start by checking out testimonials from real kratom users by typing in the hashtag “iamkratom” on youtube and you’ll see real life stories from REAL PEOPLE.

Listen to their stories and see how Kratom has saved lives and how if the DEA bans it, then many people will be turning to more dangerous substances which doesn’t really fully help fix their “medical problems” they’ve had in the first place because if it did, they’d choose the “prescription pills” over Kratom don’t you think?

Instead,  it seems people are freely choosing to use Kratom herb which only means one thing, they are HAPPY with the benefits this plant has done for their life-long problems and have found some peace.

Kratom users are not your typical drug addicts, these are functional people of society who want to work, live normal lives and Kratom seems to be helping them do so and now the DEA is trying to stop them from experiencing a normal life.

When was the last time you heard of something this mad? Look at the results of what has come out of it.. we have normal people in the world who are speaking out in numbers to keep their freedom and LIFE. It is insanely mad that a few people can have no remorse for hurting such a large group of people.

There is a cause and effect for everything in life so you have to ask… How can something so ridiculous be  enforced? Why create something out of nothing? Many things are conspiracies and can be talked about but this ban right here definitely seems to be confirming to the public that conspiracies may be real after all and there are really others out there who would like to run the lives of people.

Instead of writing up a conclusion about this, I would like to remind everyone about our natural rights.
