In addition to our shared commitment to natural and organic, plant-based skincare that smells really, really good, One Love and I originally came together because we whole-heartedly agree that self-love is essential to looking and feeling like the person you were meant to be. Until you care for yourself, you can’t care for others. Even though we’ve kissed Valentine’s Day goodbye, the time is always right to do something restorative for yourself.
If I can’t get to the spa, the next best thing is creating one at home. It doesn’t need to be fancy or elaborate, but it does need to be about you! Start by swapping the stretchy pants for a proper robe or cute PJ set (we are all obsessed with Plum Pretty Sugar’s). Make a cup of tea. Light a few candles. And for petessake, turn off your iPhone! I swear they cause wrinkles . . .

I’m a big fan of the bath. Make it steamy and add your favorite bath salts or a few drops of essential oils. I like to soak with a mask on my face like OLO’s Skin Savior but the key is to close your eyes and just breathe. Breathing is so underrated! I also love to exfoliate in the tub from neck to toe with our Vitamin C Body Polish. Take your time and it will feel far more spa-like. For an ultimate circulation-boosting detox, rinse with an invigorating shot of cool water from the showerhead.
