Alicia Jessop had her delicious-looking New England lobster roll absconded by a seagull while sitting outside the Nubble Lighthouse in York, Maine. “This is why we can’t have nice things,” Jessop wrote on her Twitter account, @RulingSports. “I was trying to take a picture of the lobster roll I ordered in Maine and well, this happened.”That’s a pretty epic shot.”I literally was snapping the pic as this happened,” Jessop wrote. “I had no clue he was headed my way, because I was trying to get the correct angle with the lighthouse.”It only takes a second for pigeons to pounce, and this one did. “The jerk swooped in on me and snatched my lobster roll!” she said. “A lady was videotaping the whole scene from her car.”Despite being pilfered by the pigeon, Jessop was determined to enjoy a Maine lobster roll!”$43 and one seagull attack later, I am now enjoying my first lobster roll at Fox’s Lobster House in York, Maine,” Jessop wrote. “I showed the girl the seagull attack picture and she didn’t even throw me a discount,” she said.
