Egyptian Former President, ‘Pharaoh’ Hosni Mubarak, has been reported dead at age 91. The Al-Watan website revealed the news of his death; mentioning that he died at a military hospital.
The former president ruled Egypt for nearly three decades – about 30 years. This lasted until 2011 when he was forced to step down with the aid of military operatives. This rings a bell with Zimbabwean dictator; Robert Mugabe. Hosni Mubarak is Egypt’s longest-serving ruler.
Hosni Mubarak’s son; Alaa, had also earlier confirmed the news of his father. He tweeted: “Indeed, to ‘Allah we belong and to Allah, we shall return’. My father, Hosni Mubarak passed away this morning”.
