Apparently, Cardi B cannot seem to get enough of the Nigerian vibe since she visited Nigeria in December last year. Over the past few months, we’ve seen her express her ‘obsession’ with Nigeria and Nigerians. We’ve been wondering too whether it was Naija Jollof that did the trick. Once, we remember how she retweeted a photoshopped picture of herself and her family in Nigerian traditional outfits.

Subsequently, we recall how she tweeted about filing for a Nigerian visa when the global tension with World War III loomed. She proceeded onto craving our indulgence by seeking what Nigerian tribe to choose. Of course, Nigerians made sure they had the perfect pitch for their distinctive tribes.

With these, one can infer that Cardi B has grown fond of us. Just when we thought the obsession had suppressed, Cardi B took us by storm with her most recent tweet:

Nahh, she dealt a blow to South Africans and they do not take it lightly, especially when she made reference to her show in the country – from the same tweet! Well, it’s a win for us and we’re quite excited she’s made up her mind. To choose a Nigerian name over 54 countries on the continent? Now, that’s something to make a fuss about.
