After being nominated 12 times, Jermaine Lamarr Cole wins his first Award in the 62nd Grammys. J Cole bagged this feat last night off the ‘A lot’ track in the ‘Best Rap Song’ category. He co-wrote, and was featured in the track by 21 Savage who has had 4 nominations.
J Cole was featured in other categories in the 62nd Grammys: First was ‘Best Rap Performance’ which ‘Racks In The Middle’ by Nipsey Hussle, Roddy Ricch and Hit Boy clinched. Another was ‘Best Rap/Sung Performance’ which ‘Higher’ by DJ Khaled featuring Nipsey Husslen and John Legend snagged. Finally, Tyler, The Creator bagged the ‘Best Rap Album’ for ‘IGOR’.
