Earlier today; the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, charged Maryam Sanda with death by hanging. This is sequel to the murder of her husband; Bilyamin Mohammed Bello which happened sometime in November 2017. Reports hold that the deceased was related to the former National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party.

Sanda was said to have reportedly committed homicide for issues with alleged infidelity. She, however, claimed that Bello died when he fell on a broken pot of shisha during an argument.

Following the course of events, Maryam “woefully failed” to justify the cause of her husband’s death, judging by the principle of ‘last seen’. The judge thus made the pronouncement:

She should reap what she has sown, for it has been said that ‘thou shall not kill’ and whoever kills in cold blood deserves death as his own reward.

Convict also clearly deserves to die, accordingly I hereby sentence Maryam Sanda to death by hanging until she dies.
