Sensational vocalist and songstress, Asa, has pulled a ‘shocker string’ on us. And no, we didn’t see it coming. Over the week, she was at an exclusive interview with CoolFM, Lagos. ‘Exclusive’ because; first, Asa rarely does interviews. Before this, the last time she had one was about a year ago – and she confirmed it. Second, she’s not been in the country lately as she’s based in France.

Kayla and N6 hosted Asa on ‘The Roadshow’ where she discussed a number of issues pertaining to her music, lifestyle and subsequent projects. The shimmering highlight of Asa’s interview features the moment of her adulation for Naira Marley. When asked if she’s a ‘Marlian’, she had this to say:

I think I’m a Marlian. I love him, I think he’s awesome.

Additionally, Asa addressed other issues like Nigerian artistes she looked forward to working with. In the nearest future, she mentioned the likes of Teni, Odunsi, Maleek Berry and Olamide. And, she does love Teni; she was gushing over her. Girl power, huh?

With regards to tours, Asa highlighted Germany, Cape Verde and Paris. Ideally, these tours are off her new album ‘Lucid’ which she released late 2019. The ‘Murder in The USA’ crooner is still rowing the ‘single not searching’ boat. How about that?
