Big Brother; Akon, has decided to start off 2020 on a rather elegant note! Just recently, the artiste took to Twitter to announce that he had finalised agreements with Senegalese officials on ‘AKON CITY’. The City is built on a 2,000 acre gifted to Akon by Senegalese President; Macky Sall. What’s mindblowing is the exclusiveness of the city: A currency of its own? An airport? Solar-lighting projects? How else do you define “outstandingly marvellous”?

The cryptocurrency, referred to as ‘Akoin’ shall allow for an independent trade system. Akon’s dream of making the biggest impact in Africa, is probably manifesting in its full-fledged form.

We recall, how some weeks back, Akon was in the news for being dragged by M.I: After a performance by Akon and Wizkid, the former posted a photo addressing Wizkid as “lil bro”. Rapper MI cautioned Akon against such derogatory comment. However, things ended quite badly for MI as he got a good deal of lambaste from fans.

Following this development however, Nigerians have made constant references to M.I’s lame comment vis-a-vis Akon’s impressive stunt. Truly, Akon is one Big Brother!
