Sometime yesterday; 16 December 2019, news broke the internet that controversial singer; Naira Marley, was involved in car theft, among other atrocities. Following the details of the rumours, it holds that the Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos ordered the arrest of one “Adeyemi Fashola aka Naira Marley”. Hold on a sec. You guessed right! You do not know any “Adeyemi Fashola” too, yeah? Naira Marley has taken to Twitter to address this inconsistency:
Car theft?? maybe I need to post my bentley, Porsche or benzo. If u lot like try stain my name from today till tomorrow I will still be the next president and who’s adeyemi fashola aka Naira Marley.

The Chief Magistrate; Mr Tajudeen Elias, has however directed that Naira Marley be present in court on 21 December 2019. The major allegations levelled against Naira Marley include a stolen Toyota Camry vehicle valued at N1.8 million, and an iPhone X5 worth N330,000.
In his defence, Naira Marley has challenged the volatility of the rumours; including coming out at bloggers for airing hoax news. See his tweets below:
Looool I’m still baffled, one bad belle paid bloggers to carry fake news because I’m sure the bloggers didn’t sit down to make that up themselves.
