Mumbai: The death of veteran actor Kader Khan received thousands of condolences over Social Media but it failed to attract Bollywood stars to attend Khan’s funeral.
With the demise of Kader Khan, the Indian Film industry not only lost one of its finest actors but a great screen-writer.

The 81-year-old star died fighting a brain disease, at a Canadian hospital on Monday evening at 6 pm. After which the social media was flooded with the heart-filled condolences from many known personalities and stars like Amitabh Bachchan but no Bollywood star reached at attend the funeral, on Wednesday late night.
Kader was ill for the last several years and his condition was critical, he was admitted to the hospital only a few days ago, where he died on his hospital bed.

His funeral was done in Canada only as his all relatives live in Canada, his son Sarfaraz told media. It might seem difficult to attend his last rituals in Canada due to the distance but if our Celebs can fly all the distance to Italy and other parts of the world to attend wedding ceremonies and enjoy vacations, why can’t they go to attend the funeral of such a great actor.

Many celebrities like Arjun Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar eshowed their grief on his demise via Social Media plateforms.

Kabul-born Kader Khan made his debut in the film world with Rajesh Khanna’s film ‘Daag’ in 1973. Khan has worked in more than 300 films. He wrote dialogues for more than 250 films. Prior to becoming an actor, he had written dialogues for Randhir Kapoor and Jaya Bachchan’s film ‘Jawani Diwani’.

As a screenwriter, Khan worked in several films with Manmohan Desai and Prakash Mehra. Along with Desai, he did films like ‘Dharam Veer’, ‘Gangaa Jamunaa Saraswathi’, ‘Coolie’, ‘Desh Premee’, ‘Suhaag’, ‘Parvarish’ and ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ and with Mehra he made ‘Jwalamukhi’ ‘Sharaabi ‘,’ Lawaaris’, ‘Muqaddar Ka Sikandar’.
