New Delhi: In an emotional letter to people of Amethi and Rae Bareli, the Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Wednesday appealed them to vote for Congress-Samajwadi Party alliance in Uttar Pradesh.

Sonia, who remained absent from the poll campaigns, said, “It has always been a proud moment for my family to serve the people of Amethi and Rae Bareli.”

It may be mentioned that Sonia’s parliamentary constituency Rae Bareli will go to polls on Thursday.

Attacking the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Congress President said that country’s PM promised “acche din” to people but gave bad days in return.

What else Sonia Gandhi said?

– BJP government at the Centre blocked welfare schemes in Amethi.
– Accusing BJP of making people suffer, Sonia said that Modi can go to any extent to save his chair.
– BJP works only to benefit its businessmen friends.
