I'd like to introduce you all to our latest world traveller, Nikki, who goes by "Noodles" to her close friends.  Here's her bio for you to get acquainted to her as you'll be reading about her more and more over the forthcoming months and her amazing experiences around the world!

Hello there! I’m Nikki….or Noodles as I’m   otherwise known to my close friends (don’t ask why….none of us can recollect how I adopted this nickname, but it may have something to do with my unhealthy obsession with Pot Noodles at the time).                                                                                                                  

I’m a 30 year old PR gal by day….and amateur wine connoisseur/travel blogger by night. Having always been inspired by my grandparents love of travel, last year I decided to take the plunge and leave the comfort of my lovely Nottingham flat and 9-to-5 job to live out of a backpack for a little while…                                                                                

Ten months later, I returned home after hopping across four continents, of which I spent five incredible months volunteering at an orphanage and school in Tanzania. I can honestly say that this trip was an experience of a lifetime and has changed my life forever. As you may have guessed from some of my posts, I definitely left a part of my heart in Africa.

To indulge in my ever-growing wanderlust, I Originally Set up this blog to ramble on about the experiences I encountered along the way. Now with my Feet Firmly back on English Soil, I intend to keep the blog going as a place to share tips and stories with Fellow Travellers as I plan some new adventures that I can fit in around the day job and
