Meet Kerry, our latest Travel Teez partner.  Born and raised in Canada, she now spends her days as a teacher, and blogger, while enjoying escapades around the world.  Inspired by her partner who is an airline pilot, Kerry put together this gorgeous website focusing on tips, tricks, and stories about life around airports to which all of us wanderlusters can relate.

What happens when you combine a love for airports, Travel and people, with a career in language arts and writing? You get Airport Lifestyle. Writing has always been a passion throughout my life, spending numerous years teaching students exactly that. In my twenties, teaching seemed like the obvious career choice, but when I turned 30 my heart began to wander beyond the classroom walls searching for something more stimulating.

In 2010 I met my partner, an airline pilot with a mainline carrier in the US and my perfect travel companion. Together our journeys have taken us around the world to many beautiful locations, giving us the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people along the way. Our list of future destinations continues to grow daily, with a never-ending sense of excitement and anticipation for what lies ahead.

In 2014 Airport Lifestyle sprang to life, creating with it the opportunity to share our travel stories, tips, advice and so much more. As someone who has always been fascinated by airports and the people who pass through them, creating Airport Lifestyle was a natural process. My goal is to create the perfect place to visit when planning a trip, passing time on a layover, or simply looking for travel inspiration. It is not just for the seasoned traveler or aviation employee, it is for the everyday person who dreams of travel and is perhaps even too scared to board a flight. (Yes Mom that’s you!) Airport Lifestyle aims to go beyond airplanes and airports, giving fellow travelers/dreamers an online community to learn, discover, and share while connecting with the world around them.

Through my travels, I have learned that the world is a beautiful place to explore, and that every journey usually begins or passes through an airport at some point along the way. Spending countless hours at airports and on planes, I continuously catch myself wondering about all the other passengers and the journeys they are embarking on. Every passenger has a story and my hope is to inspire you through these journeys and stories, while providing a little entertainment along the way.
