Annoying Things to Avoid When On A Plane

Traveling at over 30,000 feet above sea level is luxurious but, it doesn’t come with its problems. While expecting to sit in the most comfortable seats ever made, enjoying a gourmet meal, and the best in-flight entertainment, it isn’t the case. As a result, you shouldn’t expect a kingly kind of treatment.

At the same time, you shouldn’t expect your fellow Passenger to be on their best behavior given the fact that people have Annoying habits and, some could be life-threatening. As a Canadian tax help professional, here are some of the things you should never do on a plane.

  1. Don’t change your child’s diaper

Kids are adorable and traveling with them is no easy feat. But, that doesn’t mean that you have the right to change the stinky diaper in your seat. You should always change your baby’s diaper in the bathroom so that you don’t interfere with other kids.

The bathrooms have changing tables, and you can place your baby on a clean towel as you change them. You also need to ensure that you have a plastic bag to put in the dirty diaper.

  1. Don’t let your kids run around

They love to play whenever they are awake but, with unpredictable turbulence or the mere fact that it is unsafe to leave kids running up and down the aisles, you should keep your kids seated next to you, all the time. Keep them entertained

  1. Do not take off your shoes

As amazing and freeing as it feels when you walk barefoot at home, the airplane shouldn’t be the place you even consider walking or sitting barefoot. It is gross to your fellow passengers, and it may also harm your health.

Despite regular and even thorough cleaning, the carpets are full of germs which have made the carpets their home. Also, turbulence means that bodily fluids will end up on the floor leaving an unsafe carpet waiting to make you sick.

  1. Don’t place your feet on the armrests

It may seem comfortable but placing your feet on the armrest is uncouth and annoying behavior. Even when you feel cramped and tired, you shouldn’t stretch your feet and let them rest on the armrest in front of you.

Stinky or not, wouldn’t you be annoyed if the passenger seated behind you did that?

  1. Don’t leave the sounds from your devices on

You could be listening to great music or watching the most entertaining videos, or even winning that game. However, you shouldn’t let your entertainment affect others. The passenger next to you may want to sleep, and you should let them sleep. It is rude to leave those sounds on, and you should always travel with headphones.

  1. Never knee the seat in front of you

Cramping affects everyone, especially on long flights. However, you shouldn’t put your knee on their seat even if it is reclined more than you would like.

Kicking the seat or digging your knees into their backs to express displeasure is not a solution. To resolve such issues, talk it out or learn how to get yourself the best spot on the plane.

Also, don’t floss, open the overhead bins, leave the bathroom door ajar, carry alcohol, or eat pungent food. You should also learn to share the armrest.
