The world’s best Hotel brands are expanding even further over the next year with some stunning new hotels to experience.

Here’s a sample of the new luxury and boutique hotels that will open during 2022.

The Twenty Two, London

Opening in Mayfair on Grosvenor Square, The Twenty Two will offer 31 rooms and Suites, an all day modern British Restaurant and a private members’ club.

The members’ club will offer an all-day lounge space with a bar and terrace overlooking Grosvenor Square, as well as a cocktail bar, and an evening dining room with a covered outdoor terrace.

Bulgari Hotel Roma

Like all Bvlgari Hotels, Italian architectural firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel will be in charge of the restoration and the interior design of the new Bvlgari Hotel Roma, which will have around 100 rooms, most of them suites.

Il Ristorante, by Michelin-starred chef Niko Romito and The Bvlgari Bar will be on the top floor of the hotel. 

Aman New York

Aman New York will open in 2022 turning the Crown Building on 5th Avenue / 57th Street into a chic urban retreat.

In addition to the 83 guest rooms and suites (all with their own fireplace), Aman New York will have 22 full-service branded residences, including a five-story penthouse. 

The hotel’s facilities will include three restaurants, a jazz club, an Aman Spa and a members’ club, the Aman Club.

Rosewood Vienna

Rosewood Vienna will open in the summer of 2022 in a historic 18th century building in Vienna’s Old Town.

The hotel will have 99 rooms and suites and a variety of dining options, including a rooftop bar and an intimate restaurant in the garden.

Villa Passalacqua, Lake Como

The owners of the gorgeous Grand Hotel Tremezzo on Lake Como (Pictured below) will open a second property next summer.

Villa Passalacqua is being meticulously restored to open with 24 suites, stunning gardens, a lakeside tennis court, and spa services in the fruit garden.

The Peninsula Istanbul

Due to open in late 2022, the Peninsula Istanbul will be located on the Bosphorus, as part of a project called Galataport, which will include a promenade, museums and art galleries, restaurants, boutiques and a cruise ship port.

The hotel will have 177 rooms and suites, stunning gardens and a swimming pool right next to the river.

Hotel La Palma, Capri

Oetker Collection will open the revamped Hotel La Palma in Capri in April. 

Capri’s first hotel, built in 1822, Hotel La Palma will open as an elegant and exclusive 50-room and suite hotel, located steps from the famous Piazzetta.

The hotel will feature a rooftop restaurant and bar, a newly built pool deck,  spa and high-fashion boutiques, along with what is set to become the hottest destination in Capri: La Palma Beach Club.

Raffles London at The OWO

Set to open in late 2022, Raffles London at The OWO will have 120 rooms and suites in the historic Old War Office.

Raffles at The OWO will include 11 restaurants and bars, a spa with a 20-metre indoor pool and separate vitality pool, and a 620 seated-capacity grand ballroom.

There will also be 85 private residences.

Jumeirah Muscat Bay

The first Jumeirah hotel in Oman will open in Muscat in early 2022  in the secluded Bandar Jissah cove.

The 206 room hotel includes a 1,200 sqm Talise Spa, a dive centre, a wide range of sports and leisure facilities, a selection of restaurants, bars and cafes and a kids’ club.

The hotel’s rooftop signature restaurant and lounge also offers incredible views over the Oman Gulf and Al Hajar Mountains.

Fairmont Doha and Raffles Doha

Katara Towers, a new landmark address in Doha (pictured below), will see the launch of two luxury hotels: Fairmont Doha and Raffles Doha.

The Fairmont will offer 361 rooms and suites that cater mainly to business travellers, while the Raffles Doha’s 132 plush suites will make the hotel the most luxurious hotel in Qatar. 

The hotels will feature signature restaurants and bars, specialist boutiques, VIP movie theatres and a private Cigar Lounge.

One&Only Aesthesis, Greece

The One&Only Aesthesis will open as a 50-acre beachfront estate on the Athenian Riviera with 127 rooms and suites.

The resort will include a lively beach club, restaurants serving Greek delicacies and a Chenot spa offering tailored health and wellness programs.

Waldorf Astoria Cancun: Mexico

The Waldorf Astoria Cancun will open in September on 100 acres of pristine, secluded coastline in Cancun with 173 rooms with ocean views, plunge pools, and private balconies.

The hotel will also have a Waldorf Astoria Spa, five restaurants and bars and access to over 55,000 sq. ft. of event space.

Conrad Los Angeles

Conrad Los Angeles will be part of The Grand LA, a Frank Gehry-designed mixed-use property located downtown.

The hotel will have 305 rooms, views of the Walt Disney Concert Hall and a 16,000 square foot rooftop terrace.

Four Seasons Resort Fort Lauderdale

The Four Seasons Resort Fort Lauderdale will open in March 2022 with 189 guest rooms and suites and a third floor pool terrace overlooking the ocean.

The hotel will also have oceanfront dining at Evelyn’s Table, and Honey Fitz, the lobby cafe and champagne bar.

W Algarve

W Algarve will open in April 2022 with 134 rooms, 83 residences, a Sea Sky rooftop bar and stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Algarve coastline.

The restaurants will include Market Kitchen serving regional and international cuisine, and Paper Moon offering an Italian menu.

Gleneagles Townhouse, Edinburgh

Popular Scottish resort, Gleneagles, will open a townhouse hotel in Edinburgh in the former Bank of Scotland HQ.

Gleneagles Townhouse will have 33 bedrooms, an all-day restaurant, rooftop bar and members’ club.

Patina Ubud

After a successful launch in the Maldives in 2021, Patina, sister brand to Capella Hotels, will open its second property in Ubud in 2022.

Patina Ubud is designed as a collection of buildings cascading on a sloping site, with a long infinity pool running parallel to the sacred Wos River.

The 102 rooms, suites and villas, and all public spaces face the river and surrounding rainforest valley.

After a successful launch in the Maldives in 2021, Patina, sister brand to Capella Hotels, will open its second property in Ubud in 2022.
