Restaurant Review :-Embok Village Steamboat and Seafood, Port Dickson

Seafood Dinner at Embok Village Steamboat and Seafood

The other favourite place that we go for Seafood besides Medan Ikan Bakar Port Dickson. Is the Embok Village Steamboat and Seafood. Embok Village is next to the Mayang Sari Hotel which appears to be abandoned now. Coming from the Army Camp you have to slow down after the Bagan Pinang beach. Otherwise you will miss the turning in. Which is quite hidden and not well lighted.

The Entrance

What we normally have is the Ikan Bakar, Lala Masak Chili and Kailan Goreng. The Ikan Bakar is nicely grilled fish flavoured with only sliced lemon. As the fish was fresh, it tasted really tasty. My kids liked it. Simple but tasty. My favourite dish when I come here is the Lala Goreng Chili ( Mussels prepared in Chili) and Stirfried Kailan. On occasion there is live entertainment.

Verdict

Good food coupled with the breeze from the sea. Service was fast and prompt. Unlike what you read in Tripadvisor, when we come here, we get prompt service. Maybe we always go there on a weekday. Food is also affordable to us. We had a Siakap that was enough for 4 person, Mussels in Chili, Stirfried Kailan, Plain Omelette, Fried Prawns in Batter and some drinks. The bill came up to RM102. Would recommend this place for nice seafood whenever you are in Port Dickson. The ambience of the restaurant is quite cosy.
