Some of the animals that you can encounter in the woods include bobcats, deer, coyotes and feral pigs, while the park’s waters are home to various creatures like amphibians, turtles, snakes, and various types of fish. The park is named after the Congaree River that flows through it.

URL: NPS

Dry Tortugas is a U.S. national park comprising a group of seven islands found in the Gulf of Mexico not far from Key West, Florida. As the name suggests, there is a large number of sea turtles that call the park and its surrounding waters home. Garden Key is the most prominent of the park’s islands as that is where the famous 19-century Fort Jefferson is located. Nearby Loggerhead Key features a lighthouse, while the Loggerhead Reef is a popular dive spot largely due to the Windjammer Wreck, which is the name designated to the remains of an 1875 ship.
