Comments: The famous Lake Baccarac 10 pound bass have not been showing up but we are getting a good number of 8 and 9 pound fish. The even better news is the good number of small and medium sized largemouth we have been catching. The mid-December rains have really helped the level of the lake and we suspect that it will suppress the fishing action by a couple of more weeks but we should be in for a great season of spring bass fishing. The best baits right now are lizards, Senkos, Scroungers and, of course the Alabama rig.
