The San Francisco Bay Area is home to a lot of big corporate events and trade shows. According to the San Francisco Business Times, Dreamforce by Salesforce is the biggest (roughly 117,000 attendees for 2017), followed closely by Oracle's Open World (roughly 110,000 attendees for 2017). Coming in at a relatively distant #3 is the Game Developer's Conference, or GDC.
