The Hilltop has a special 4-course meal scheduled for Valentine’s Day, and they will be open from 5pm to 10pm. The restaurant is a beautiful Victorian-style mansion, nestled among towering oak trees, offering an unforgettable experience. House specialties include the she-crab soup, filet mignon, and fresh seafood dishes. They also have a full bar and piano lounge. Reservations are a must.

Barrique is a brand-new restaurant and wine bar in Avondale that opened to rave reviews. They have an original menu reminiscent of old world French, Italian and Spanish influences. The food is rustic with artisanal cheeses, cured meats, and thin crust pizzas. You can also get local favorites like the sautéed Mayport shrimp with creamy polenta, pancetta, and a roasted pepper sauce. Barrique also has an amazing wine list, and a full bar. The mini desserts are fabulous and include classics like Mississippi mud, and the Florida favorite key lime pie. Reservations are welcomed.

Who said Valentine’s Day is all about chocolate and roses? Wicked Barley will be celebrating Valentine’s Day with beer and burgers from 11am until 11pm! They will have special beer releases that you will just have to try with flavors like chocolate raspberry imperial stout, cherry macaroon cider, and a fragrant rose hip cider. There will also be pop culture trivia from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.

Internationally trained and published artist Rachel Cross will be hosting a fun class (No talent required). Where she will be using a combination of her favorite mediums (art supplies) to teach you how to get your hands on a professional artist’s materials, learn, and share a few good laughs.
