Many businessmen and women that regularly commute or travel are very sociable people. But why is this only at weekends? In the week they will sit on a plane, train, bus or tram in their own little bubble, reading or on a mobile device or laptop. But they're still sociable, right? If they were at home or the office they'd be having a conversation. But you can't just strike up a conversation with other people around you can you? Sociocean.com offers a way to change that.

Sociocean was founded by a group of very sociable people who traveled regularly with business and were frustrated at the lack of social interaction on their daily commutes. The idea was born of introducing a brand, a logo that could be easily recognised. It took a bit of getting used to but after a while it became more than idea. After initial discussions they started to pass texts;

'What are you up to?'
'Bored. Sat in a hotel restaurant. About ten people all on individual tables.'
'You should look for the logo!'

And so the logo was created, and here it is...






It's now available on many items from the Sociocean store . You can start with a badge or pin, something that's easily transferable to different items of clothing or bags. Or you can buy items with the logo already emblazoned on them, polo shirts, bags or caps for example. There's a website of course where you can join like minded groups or arrange meetups and there is further development ongoing to introduce an app using locale services and discussions of how to include other logos to recognise what languages you speak or specific interests, business or otherwise.
