Los Angeles is one of the biggest cities in the world, with thousands upon thousands of businessmen and women visiting the City of Angels for work. But just because you’re in town for a business trip doesn’t mean you still can’t do a bit of sightseeing and have some fun. Many know L.A. for its entertainment industries given Hollywood is just a hop, skip and a jump from Downtown Los Angeles, but there’s a lot more to one of the most visited cities in the world. Here are a few things to do in Los Angeles if you have time in between meetings:

1. Getty Center

A visit to the Getty Center provides beauty everywhere you turn. The museum is home to masterpieces from Van Gogh, Rembrandt, Titian and Canaletto, to name a few. And besides its paintings inside, the architecture and garden are also a must-see for their astonishing beauty. It’s also overlooks the city and provides amazing views of Los Angeles.

2. Venice Beach

If the weather permits (which is practically 99.9% of the time in Los Angeles), head out to some of the best beaches on the West Coast. But if you really want to see some sights visit Venice Beach, which is known for its eclectic community. You’ll be able to walk along the promenade and people watch or buy from street vendors, take in some of the beach’s live performances and take a dip in the Pacific Ocean.

3. Hollywood

Check out the entertainment capitol of the world with a visit to Hollywood! You’ll be able to take some guided tour busses around the city to scope out some famous places or take in the sights on Hollywood Blvd and do some souvenir shopping.
