If you are sent to Bath in the UK on a Business Trip then you are in for a treat. If at all possible you should set aside some time for sightseeing in this beautiful and historic city. In this post we advise on the best places to arrange your meetings or conferences as well as where to eat and things to do if you manage to get some free time.

There are a variety of options available depending on the size of your meetings. There are of course the usual hotel options that can be found in any city, but as usual we have selected a couple of different options to impress your clients. See below for both the larger corporate event and a more intimate option;

If you have a larger event or conference (30 – 300 people) then Bath racecourse could be ideal and a great way to entertain your clients if it’s a race day, with corporate hospitality and boxes also available. The downside of this venue is you would probably also need to lay on transport. It’s 7 miles out of the city and an equivalent distance from the Train Station. More information can be found here.

At totally the opposite of the scale, if you’re looking for a small and cheaper option then the Guild Hall is an excellent choice. It’s in the middle of the city centre, easy to find and within a 5 minute walk of the train station. Booking the meeting rooms can be done online and offers excellent value for money. Due to its location there’s a multitude of nearby restaurants and pubs to choose during lunch. More information can be found here.
