As the days get shorter and the nights grow longer, so the temperatures drop and we realise winter is upon us!
Be sure to keep your guests Warm and cosy when they visit your establishment.
Here are a few tips to do just that:
Blankets
Having a warm fluffy blanket to throw over your knees or shoulders while watching the telly or sitting on the deck with a sundowner is sure way to ensure total comfort and warmth. Have a few of these blankets rolled up and placed in rooms and recreational areas. Also have extra blankets in a cupboard or at the bottom of the beds for those to get extra cold during the night.
Warm drinks
Be it coffee, tea, hot chocolate or horlicks, everyone wants to sip on something warm to keep the body temperature at a toasty level. Ensure that you provide a few different varieties of these warm delights for your guests to indulge in.
Reading material
Contrary to popular belief, the paperback reading material is still very much “the in thing”. Snuggling up on a couch or in bed with a good book is a very popular for many people on holiday wanting to escape everyday stresses and strains. Try to have books, newspapers and reading books available for guests to choose from.
Heaters
While blankets and socks keep you warm, the chill in the air can be unforgiving. By supplying a small fan heater in your rooms, guests will be extra comfy with more than enough to keep them warm.
By keeping your guests warm and cosy throughout their stay they will want to be back time and time again!
