Disney on Broadway 2019 – Epcot International Festival of the Arts 

The Epcot International Festival of the Arts is running now through February 25. The festival features a full array of concerts, culinary treats, and performing arts! This year’s festival will feature a Disney on Broadway at Epcot concert series with star performances. Music will be performed by some of the best talent ever assembled that have appeared in Disney productions on Broadway.

Well represented on the concert roster is The Lion King, with performances by Disney on Broadway stars Alton Fitzgerald White and Kissy Stevens.

Aladdin

Aladdin stars Arielle Jacobs and Adam Jacobs also receive top billing. Arielle currently stars as Princess Jasmine in the Broadway series, and was a touring star in Disney’s High School Musical. Adam, who received a Grammy nod for his originating title role in Aladdin, also starred as Simba in The Lion King and Marius in Les Miserables.

Kerry Butler

Another top draw for Disney on Broadway at Epcot is Kerry Butler. She played Belle in Beauty and the Beast on Broadway. Butler was also nominated for a Tony Award for her role in Xanadu, and is now preparing for her role as Barbara in Beetlejuice that will run this spring on Broadway.

Heidi Blickenstaff is another Disney on Broadway favorite, primarily for her role as Ursula in The Little Mermaid. Heidi also starred in Disney Channel’s movie and the Broadway production of Freaky Friday.

Other Disney Broadway Stars

Also featured in the Disney on Broadway at Epcot concert series are stars Josh Strickland and Kevin Massey.  Both have played the starring role in Disney’s Tarzan on Broadway.  Ashley Brown played Belle in Beauty and the Beast on Broadway and the title role in Disney’s Mary Poppins on Broadway will appear as well. Gavin Lee will also star in this production (Disney’s Mary Poppins and SpongeBob SquarePants on Broadway) for which he received a Tony Award nomination.

Steve Blanchard, who starred as “the Beast” for 8 years in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast on Broadway, and Meredith Inglesby who played Babette in Beauty and the Beast are also scheduled to appear.

Epcot Dining
