Oct. 8, 2019: Sergio Vincenza Legendary Bounty, New Nazar Collectibles[edit]

In this Red Dead Online update, Rockstar announced the arrival of the fourth Legendary Bounty, new collectibles, and more.

Players can now tackle the fourth of 10 new Legendary Bounties; the bounty for Sergio Vincenza.

Sergio is a military defector and sharpshooter, who previously attempted to assassinate the governor of Saint Denis, and was last seen in the area surrounding Roanoke Ridge. Visit a Bounty Board for details. After completing the bounty, wait a short while and it will reappear at an increased difficulty.

Bounty Hunters who complete the Sergio Vincenza Legendary Bounty will receive the following within 24 hours of completing the mission:
Inglett Scarf (Exclusive Colorway)
Express Rifle Ammo (100)

This week, Madam Nazar is offering a reward to players who gather and deliver her the Naturalists Collection, which includes the following items:

Oct. 1, 2019: Owlhoot Family Legendary Bounty, New Nazar Collectibles[edit]

In this Red Dead Online update, Rockstar announced the arrival of the third Legendary Bounty, new collectibles, and more.

Players can now tackle the third of 10 new Legendary Bounties; the bounty for The Owlhoot Family.

The Owlhoot Family is wanted in connection to a large number of murders around Benedict Pass, and are currently known to operate out of Rio Bravo.

This legendary bounty will be available until Oct. 7, and Bounty Hunters who complete it will receive 5 Tomahawks, so visit a Bounty Board for details. After completing the bounty, wait a short while and it will reappear at an increased difficulty.

This week, a new Collector Free Roam Event is available, so players should be on the lookout for the following:
Condor Egg

The first player to find the Egg will get to keep it, and the event is available to all Collectors who are Rank 4 or higher. Wander the world in Free Roam and keep your eyes peeled for an invite (and condors circling overhead).

The Hunter Hatchet is now available from Fences in the following locations: :

This week, RDO players can defend their stockpile from raiding enemies in Free-Aim Spoils of War, located in the Online menu.

Sept. 24, 2019: Wolf Man Legendary Bounty, New Nazar Collectibles[edit]

In this Red Dead Online update, Rockstar announced the arrival of the second Legendary Bounty, new collectibles, and more.

Players can now tackle the second of 10 new Legendary Bounties; the bounty for The Wolf Man.

The Wolf Man is wanted in connection to a string of violent murders and is rumored to be in hiding near Lake Isabella.

Visit a Bounty Board for details on the Wolf Man, wait a while after completing the mission to unlock a more difficult version of the bounty, and take Predator Bait to make the encounter easier. On 4 and 5-star difficulty, players will be required to capture him alive.

Bounty Hunters who complete the Wolf Man Legendary Bounty will receive the following, sent to the Post Office or Camp Lockbox:

This week, Madam Nazar is looking for a new collection of items this week (the Saint Denis Collection), so players should be on the lookout for the following:

Sept. 17, 2019: Alcazar Legendary Bounty, New Collectibles[edit]

In this Red Dead Online update, Rockstar announced the arrival of the first Legendary Bounty, new collectibles, and more.

Players can now tackle the first of 10 new Legendary Bounties; the bounty for Barbarella Alcazar.

Visit a Bounty Board for details on Alcazar, and complete the bounty before Sept. 23 to obtain special awards, which are increased if she is brought in alive.

This week, Madam Nazar is looking for the Pearls of the Sea collection this week, so players should be on the lookout for the following:

Pelle Pearl Necklace
Bonnard Pearl Ring

Collect each one, then return the collection to Nazar or a Post Office before Sept. 23 to claim the rewards.

In this Red Dead Online update, Rockstar announced the arrival of Frontier Pursuits, the Wheeler, Rawson and Co. Club, the Outlaw Pass, and more.

Starting today, players can adopt one (or all) of three new Specialist Roles:
Bounty Hunter
Trader
Collector

These Frontier Pursuits will gain Role XP as players complete specific activities associated with them (hunting bounties, hunting beasts, and finding secret treasures).

Specific necessary items used to unlock each role can be purchased by all players for 15 Gold Bars, and can be obtained for free under the following circumstances:
Players who linked their Twitch Prime and Rockstar Games Social Club Accounts by Sunday, Sept. 8 will receive the Bounty Hunter License free. Those who missed the deadline will see the License appear within 72 hours of linking accounts.
Players who found all 54 hidden playing cards in GTA Online can snag the Collector’s Bag for free through Oct. 14.
Players with an active PlayStation Plus subscription can get the Butcher’s Table (for Traders) through Oct. 14.

Rockstar has announced the addition of the new, free RDO membership program. Called the Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Club, players are automatically enrolled in the program by playing RDO between Sept. 10 and Nov. 18.

• Participation in the Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Club will award the following as they accumulate XP and Role XP:

Rockstar also announced the arrival of The Outlaw Pass, a new Rank-based progression system (70 Ranks total) which allows players to earn unique rewards.

Sept. 5, 2019: Wheeler, Rawson and Co. Club, The Outlaw Pass Announced[edit]

In this Red Dead Online update, Rockstar announced the upcoming Wheeler, Rawson and Co. Club, the Outlaw Pass, and more.

Rockstar has announced the addition of the new, free RDO membership program. Called the Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Club, players are automatically enrolled in the program, which awards members as they accumulate XP and Role XP.

• Participation in the Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Club will award the following:
  Clothing
  Accessories
  Bonus Cash
  Free Tonics
  A Special Gun Wrap
  Etc.

The Club Membership period lasts from Sept. 10 – Nov. 18, and rewards unlocked during this period will be available for players from this point forward.

Rockstar also announced The Outlaw Pass, a new Rank-based progression system (70 Ranks total) which allows players to earn unique rewards.

• Players who purchase The Outlaw Pass for 35 Gold Bars will obtain the following:

Like the Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Club, membership in The Outlaw Pass lasts from Sept. 10 to Nov. 18, and all unlocked rewards will remain available for players after the membership period expires.

Sept. 3, 2019: Red Dead Online Summer Update Announcement, Details[edit]

This week in Red Dead Online, Rockstar announced the upcoming Red Dead Online Summer Update, detailed the additions coming in the update, and more.

The Red Dead Online Summer Update arrives Sept. 10.

• The update will add Frontier Pursuits, Specialist Roles, new avenues for progression, and more.

• Rockstar also announced the following updates as part of the Summer Update:

  More Dynamic Events

  Improved Player Control/Character Movement

New Progression options will be associated with each of these roles.

No matter which Role you choose, you’ll gather Role XP as you complete activities associated with that Role. Complete a Bounty to earn Bounty Hunter Role XP, etc.

• Each Role has 20 Ranks, broken down into tiers:
  Novice (Ranks 1-5)
  Promising (Ranks 6-10)
  Established (Ranks 11-15)
  Distinguished (Ranks 16-20)

Each Role will unlock certain exclusive skills and items as it increases in Rank, and unlocking new Role Ranks will award Role Tokens, which can be redeemed for special Role-specific abilities, upgrades, and more.

The Bounty Hunter

The Bounty Hunter can be unlocked by purchasing a Bounty Hunter License from the Legendary Bounty Hunter in Rhodes for 15 Gold Bars.

• Players who link their Red Dead Redemption 2 Social Club accounts to Twitch Prime before Sept. 8 can obtain the Bounty Hunter License for free, beginning Sept. 10.

Bounty Hunters will pick up additional jobs at Bounty Boards in key locations, which will task them with taking down criminals. Bringing them in alive grants a bonus, and bounties will be split among if the Bounty Hunter is in a Posse.

Once the player has surpassed Rank 12, Bounty Hunters will be able to hunt other players in timed pursuit encounters.

The Trader

The Trader can be unlocked for 15 Gold Bars by purchasing the Butcher’s Table from Cripps.

• Players who play Red Dead Online on PlayStation 4 can obtain the Butcher’s Table for free, beginning Sept. 10.

Traders will partner with Cripps and work together to make the Cripps Trading Company a success. Traders will hunt animals and complete Resupply Missions to gather materials, which can then be sent to Cripps, who will turn them into sellable items.

Once the merchandise has been created, Traders can send the items out for delivery to make a profit. The further away the delivery, the higher the payout, but the bigger the risks. Traders will also need to defend their camps from raids, manage transporting materials with specialized carts, and more.

• Key Trader Skills and Items Include the following:
  Stew Pot (Camp Upgrade: Unlocks Stew Recipes to boost Cores)
  Ingredients Satchel Upgrade (Holds more items)
  Awareness (Identify enemy Trader wagons from further away)

The Collector

The Collector can be unlocked by purchasing the Collector’s Bag from traveling saleswoman, Madam Nazar, for 15 Gold Bars.

• Players who collect all 54 hidden GTA Online playing cards can obtain the Collector’s Bag for free, beginning Sept. 10.

The Collector will travel the world to find Tarot cards, buried treasure, heirlooms, and other valuables, which are scattered across the West. Ranking up grants special enhanced treasure-hunting skills, tools, and more.
