Star Wars Battlefront 2 Dev Hints at Clone Wars DLC, Character Customization

Conquest Mode is also on the horizon.

It appears that Star Wars Battlefront 2 Clone Wars Dlc is coming, according DICE’s Dennis Brännvall, along with player customization. The development team took questions from fans over on the game’s forum, and were asked specifically about Conquest mode, customization, and the possibility of Clone Wars content.

“We’re obviously hearing the requests about a more open, free-flowing large mode like Conquest,” Brännvall replied. “Not sure if porting a mode over is the right way to go, but we’re definitely working on satisfying that request.” In response to the customization and Clone Wars questions, he simply replied with, “yes.”

Clone Wars DLC has been requested for some time, so no doubt the confirmation of the content will make some players very happy.

EA has had a rough ride with Battefront 2 after the game missed sales expectations. Microtransactons were pulled from the title at launch, but will be making a return “in the next few months.”

Criterion producer Pete Lake told EGM last year that Conquest mode was left out of Battlefront to deliver “a more fantasy-fulfilling Star Wars experience,” but clearly things have changed.
