Dec 29, Mary Whiton Calkins: Today in the History of Psychology (29th December 1904)




During the thirteenth annual meeting of the American Psychological Association (APA) held at the University of Pennsylvania, Professor Mary Whiton Calkins of Wellesley College was elected APA president for 1905, becoming the first woman to hold the office.
