It was reported by Ben Parr on Fri Jul 16 that Facebook has marked all bit.ly links as abusive and posting bit.ly links on Facebook is currently impossible, if you attempt to share a link with your network you are presented the following message:

"This message contains blocked content that has previously been flagged as abusive or spammy. Let us know if you think this is an error."

Existing bit.ly links are also affected: If you attempt to click on a bit.ly link, you will be lead to a Facebook abuse page detailing that Facebook users have reported the link as abusive.

I have successfully linked a bit.ly link to facebook and never got any of these errors so it looks like this is no longer an issue and the problem has been fixed.
