11,500+ ASD FieldSpec references!

More than 11,500 references for the ASD FieldSpec

The Fieldspec 4 is an important tool for measurement of reflectance, absorbance, radiance and irradiance spectra. It delivers the fastest and most accurate spectral measurements in the field. Being used in applications such as airborne remote sensing measurements, sensor and radiometric calibration and hyperspectral/multispectral image and ground truthing, this instrument already made a name for itself.

Here’s the proof.

As of February 2022, there were more than 11,500 references involving Malvern Panalytical’s Asd Fieldspec on Google Scholar. When you are reading this, check it live, and it may already be a few more than indicated on the screenshot!

As the pace of scientific research & discovery continues, this number of publications should continue to rise.

Almost two ASD FieldSpec publications every day

There were 291 results reported for the first half of 2018, up to the 155th day to be precise. In other words: there were 291/155=1.88 additions per day, meaning that more than one world citation involving the FieldSpec gets published and discovered by a Google crawler every day. Quite amazing!

Congratulations to everyone who has contributed and helped achieve this overwhelming success for the ASD FieldSpec spectroradiometer.
